At 3:20 PM Squad Company 16 was dispatched for the reported accident with entrapment to the 100 Block of Hirst Avenue in East Lansdowne. Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital Medics had arrived on location and determined the driver of an SUV on its side was entrapped. Squad 16 (FF Blunden, LT Lazaro, FF Dunlap Jr) arrived on location and stabilized the vehicle utilizing Paratech Struts and cribbing, then extricated the patient as medics and EMTs were rendering care.
