Shortly after 12:30 this afternoon, Company 16 was dispatched to the 500-Blk of Laurel Rd in Yeadon Borough for a Building Fire. Engine went responding and Fireboard advised that they were receiving multiple calls and the police were out with smoke showing. Engine 16 arrived on location with a 3 story twin with smoke showing. Engine went in service with an 1 3/4 hose line and Deputy 16 took command. And quickly struck the 2nd alarm. With assistance from other companies the bulk of the fire was knocked and the fire was placed under control a little over an hour later. Thanks to all companies for assisting.
