Around 2:45 this afternoon Company 16 was dispatched to the 200 Blk of Lexington Ave in East Lansdowne for a fire alarm. Engine 24 arrived and the assignment was scaled down after investigation. While company 16 was returning back to quarters fireboard advised 16 command of an accident with injuries on the corner of Church Lane and Darnell Ave. Engine and Ladder 16 arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle accident with 1 vehicle into a telephone pole with entrapment. 16 command requested Rescue 19 for manpower. Crews extricated the patient in under 15 minutes and the patient was transported to the hospital. Thanks to Company 19 for the assistance.
