At 2323 the Yeadon Fire Company was dispatched to a Confirmed Working Fire in their 1st due local on Church Lane Near MacDade Avenue. Truck 4 on arrival gave a scene size up and proceeded to go interior for an initial primary search. Engine 16 secured a supple line and layed to the front of the residence and pulled an initial 1 3/4 attack line and made the push to the 2nd floor where crews from both 16 and 4 were faced with heavy smoke and fire conditions. Upper Darby Squirt 36 pulled a 2nd attack line. All Hands were placed in service and crews from the surrounding areas assisted in fire attack operations. The fire was placed under control at 0042. The fire is still under investigation.
