The Officers and Members regret to announce the passing of Edward Dunlap Sr. Ed joined the company is 1995 and was still active. Ed was a Past President, having served multiple years, multiple times, as well as spending many years as a Lieutenant and Captain. Ed received both the Chiefs Awards and Presidents awards multiple times, and earned Firefighter of the Year twice. Ed was a top 10 responder for many years. Ed’s favorite and most accomplished time at the station was being our own IT guy, basically running all electronic equipment that the fire company uses, including our repeater, our pagers, our computer network, in station alerting devices and so much more. Our hearts go out to his wife Cathy, also a member, and eldest son Eddy, an active member with the fire company as well, and all of Ed and Cathy’s children, and extended family. We will post details when they are available. Fire Apparatus will be requested to participate.
