At 6:31 pm Yeadon Fire Company was dispatched to the 400 block of Holly Road for the reported dwelling fire. Engine and Squad 16 made the response with Engine 16 arriving on location first. Companies found the front bedroom of the residence on fire and immediately went into service. Mutual aide companies from  the Upper Darby Fire Department, Darby, Lansdowne, and Manoa Fire Companies responded to assist. The fire was promptly contained and placed under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s office.
